Athy ambikkumar
About
For most of his life, Dr. Athy Ambikkumar grew up in the United States, in his hometown of Chicago. Moving to Montreal for his Bachelors degree, he graduated from McGill University with an Honours degree in Computer Science and Biology. He then graduated from medical school at McGill University, before moving to Alberta for his residency training at the University of Calgary’s Ophthalmology Program.
When Dr. Ambikkumar is not spiking on the volleyball court with his friends or hiking up the Rockies, he enjoys spending time coding games and robots! He also plays the Veena, a classical Indian string instrument, and loves having jamming sessions when he’s not in the eye clinic.
